When Weight Returns, Return to the Conversation.
A change in weight is information. It is a reason to review the plan, not to withdraw from care.

Notice changes early
Look for a sustained trend rather than reacting to a single weigh-in. Increased hunger, changes in portions, new medicines, disrupted sleep or reduced activity can be useful clues. Keep notes you can discuss at follow-up without turning every day into a judgment about success.
Review the full picture
The evaluation may include eating patterns, nutrition, laboratory results, medical treatment and, when relevant, the anatomy of a previous operation. Not every episode of weight regain calls for another procedure. Treatment can be adjusted before choosing an invasive step.
Build a plan you can sustain
A practical plan may involve nutrition support, medication, activity adapted to your abilities or evaluation for endoscopic or surgical treatment. Schedule follow-up so you can assess whether the changes are helping. You do not have to wait until you have regained a particular amount to ask for support.
