Meet Dr. Jack Juprasert

Born and raised in California, Dr. Jack Juprasert embarked on his journey in medicine at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he pursued a Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacology. His profound fascination with the intricate workings of the human body and his unwavering desire to make a tangible impact on people’s lives fueled his journey toward a Medical Degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

His pursuit of excellence led him to the prestigious NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, where he embarked on his general surgery residency. Here, under the guidance of world-renowned surgeons, he honed his surgical skills and developed a deep understanding of patient care. During this transformative period, he recognized the pivotal role of research in advancing surgical outcomes, which motivated him to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research at Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.

Continuing his relentless pursuit of perfection, Dr. Juprasert sought further specialization in advanced gastrointestinal minimally invasive/bariatric surgery. To achieve this, he embarked on a rigorous fellowship program at the distinguished University of California, San Francisco, which equipped him with cutting-edge expertise in advanced laparoscopy, the da Vinci robotic platform, and interventional endoscopy.

It is about time that you can walk into a practice and discuss the difficulty of losing weight with a staff and Drs like Dr Juprasert and have them understand and support your journey to be healthy. This office wants you to be healthy. I tried shots and I did not tolerate them however I returned because I know the Drs and staff care. So today I start on a new plan and I am ready.
